Celebrating Mi'kmaq culture at Trenton Middle School

On June 5 Trenton Middle School kicked-off National Aboriginal History Month with a Mawiomi. Trenton Middle School along with the Grade 4 students from Trenton Elementary and the Grade 5/6 class from Pictou Landing First Nation School joined together to celebrate the beauty, strength, spirit and endurance of the Mikmaq culture.  The students enjoyed drumming by Eastern Eagle and a beautiful showcase of dancing by various dancers including Trenton Middle's own Muin Herney.
