On May 22nd, Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education (CCRCE) paid tribute to its dedicated employees at the annual 25-Year Service Awards Ceremony. During the event, Gary Adams, CCRCE Regional Executive Director, and Dr. Chris Boulter, System Development Supervisor, thanked the employees for their dedicated service and commitment to students.

“This career milestone didn't happen by accident," Mr. Adams told the service award winners. "This was the result of countless hours of hard work and dedication to our students in public education."

River Hebert District School and Tatamagouche Regional Academy will be closed today, Friday Nov 30, due to an outage in power.
Bussing - Drivers will be using their discretion on some side roads that may not yet have been plowed.

Elementary parent teachers scheduled this afternoon for River Hebert District, Tatamagouche Regional Academy, Wallace Consolidated, and West Highlands Elementary are canceled due to power outages.

All schools in the Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education,  including those in Cumberland, Colchester and Pictou Counties and the Municipality of East Hants, are open today though buses are running on paved roads only.  This means students will be picked up in the morning and dropped off in the afternoon at the bus stop on the paved road nearest their house.  1/24/2019



All schools in the Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education,  including those in Pictou, Cumberland and Colchester Counties along with the Municipality of East Hants will be closed today (3/4/19) due to the inclement weather forecast.


Bus #262, driven by Janice Lynds, is running 30 minutes late (Friday, May 24) for Winding River Consolidated and South Colchester Academy.

Please note: there may also be delays for buses traveling to Brookfield Elementary and South Colchester due to the fire at Pizza Market.

Bus # 169, driven by Ron Wilson, is running 1 hour late this morning for Salt Springs Elementary, West Pictou Consolidated and Northumberland Regional High School (October 3, 2019)
