The students and staff of Salt Springs Elementary School will celebrate the official “opening” of their new outdoor classroom on Thursday, October 8, 2015.

Location: Salt Springs Elementary School, 2080 West River Station Road, Salt Springs 
Time: 1:00 pm

Salt Springs’ Outdoor Classroom was made possible by a grant from TD Friends of the Environment Foundation. The Outdoor Classroom consists of 11 picnic tables, arranged in a horse shoe formation, allowing for collaborative learning.
