Bible Hill Junior High’s Husky Spirit Leadership Crew had two objectives when organizing a week-long charity event.

They wanted to build school spirit within the student body, and they wanted to raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation. By all accounts, they surpassed both goals.

The Husky Spirit Leadership Crew got their fellow students together for events such as a school BBQ, dunk tank, dress-up day and the popular Throw-a-Pie-in-the-Face of-a-Teacher event. Students rotated through various stations at which they earned points for participation, performance and enthusiasm.

In total, they raised close to $800 for the Terry Fox Foundation.
