As the 2016-17 school year comes to a close, I’d like to say congratulations to all our graduating students from the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board.

This is a meaningful accomplishment in your lives, and is an accomplishment you earned through hard work, discipline and dedication. You and your parents and guardians should be very proud.

I hope you will always look back fondly at the day you received your high school diplomas. A lot of time and energy went into this achievement.

Each year you faced new challenges, new learning and new opportunities. You started as children, but are now young adults about to put what you’ve learned to the test in university, college and the workforce.

Your years in elementary, junior and high school have hopefully provided you with fond memories to cherish for life. You’ll look back with a laugh or a smile when you think of the people you spent so much time with.

But believe me when I say the fun is just starting.

Because now, you’re about to embark on the rest of your life, and realize your dreams and desires, whatever they may be.

The possibilities are endless! Seize this opportunity and trust that we are all very proud of you.

Congratulations and best of luck.

Gary Adams
