Marathon of Respect and Equality Proclamation Signing, Introduction of Honorary Co-Chairs, To Take Place Wednesday, April 20

The proclamation ceremony in support of this year’s Marathon of Respect and Equality (MORE) and the announcement of MORE 2016 honoroary co-chairs will take place Wednesday, April 20 at 10:30 am at GR Saunders Elementary School in Stellarton.  

Municipal leaders from throughout Pictou County will proclaim their support for this year’s MORE theme, Everyone is Someone, and MORE 2016 honorary co-chairs Terry Curley and Henderson Paris will be introduced and make remarks.

The ceremony will also feature the signing of a schools proclamation of support for MORE and entertainment by the school’s choir.

The event, which is hosted this year by the Town of Stellarton and GR Saunders School, is open to the public.
