Information Session: New Glasgow Africentric Four Plus Program

The community is invited to attend an information session regarding the New Glasgow Africentric Four Plus Program on June 23, 2016 at 6:30 pm at Ward One Social and Recreation Center, New Glasgow.

Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Location: Ward One Social and Recreation Center, 487 Brother St., New Glasgow

The Africentric Four Plus Program is a school readiness program with an Africentric focus, open to children who will be four by December 31, 2016. The program is delivered at New Glasgow Academy and is open to all African Nova Scotian children in Pictou County, and all students in the New Glasgow Academy catchment area. 

The purpose of this meeting is to share information, and to solicit ideas and input to strengthen, grow and enhance the New Glasgow Africentric Four Plus Program. 

Representatives from the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (Early Years Branch and African–Canadian Services Division) and the Chignecto-Central Regional School Board will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. 

We look forward to sharing information, seeking your ideas and vision as we work with you to shape the future of the New Glasgow Africentric Four Plus program.
