Regional kick-off event for Stand Up. Speak Out. to mobilize 24,000 students & staff happening September 17th!
The Chignecto-Central Regional School Board (CCRSB) will mark the third year of its board-wide healthy relationships initiative, Stand Up. Speak Out. Stop Bullying. Together., on Thursday, September 17, at all schools and offices across the board, mobilizing close to 24,000 people. This year CCRSB is focusing on the theme “What’s in your backpack?”, broadening the meaning of Stand Up. Speak Out. to better encompass the tenets of Social Justice.

CCRSB Superintendent Gary Adams and Board Chair Trudy Thompson will be on hand, along with other CCRSB board members, CCRSB staff and the entire Truro Junior High school population.
Media who attend the launch at Truro Junior High are reminded to check-in with the school’s main office upon arrival.
Media who would like to cover activities happening at other schools are also reminded to contact the principal before arriving at the school.
