To mark the occasion of the 100th day of school, students in Grade 2 at Frank H. MacDonald Elementary participated in a number of 100-themed activities throughout the day, including building structures with 100 Lego pieces, writing poetry, listing 100 words, creating artwork using the numbers 1-0-0 and much more!

Students donned kerchiefs, dresses, ties, hats, canes, wigs and mustaches to reflect styles of 100 years ago and there were lots of giggles as students arrived in the classroom crouched over and greeting others in a shaky-aged voice.

Students also collected over 100 food items to donate to the local food bank as part of giving back to the local community!
