CCRSB News - December 19, 2014 - It's finally here, the last day of class until 2015! Many CCRSB schools have been marking the holidays with food drives, turkey lunches and festive concerts. Best of the Season to all members of the CCRSB community. Here's to a wonderful 2015!

Kennetcook District Elementary students enjoy an afternoon of dancing

CCRSB News - December 16, 2014 – In early December Kennetcook District Elementary students enjoyed an African dance presentation. Students learned a lot about African culture, history, traditions and participated in several dances.

Code Blue Hold and Secure at Amherst Regional High School has been lifted

CCRSB News - December 16, 2014 - The Hold and Secure at Amherst Regional High School has been lifted. Amherst Police have finished their investigation at the school. Classes will resume and proceed as normal for the remainder of the day. Questions about the outcome of the police investigation may be directed to the Amherst Police.


Chiganois Elementary School students lace up for another season of skating

CCRSB News – December 16, 2014 – Each week a group of students from Chiganois Elementary head off to the West Colchester Arena for a skate.  Funded by the school and the Chiganois Parent Teacher Group, the weekly skate is a positive and fun activity for students. 

Students have access to equipment provided by the school and volunteers help with skate tying! 








Code Blue at Amherst Regional High School: Amherst Police investigating possible threat

CCRSB News - December 16, 2014 - A Code Blue Hold and Secure has been put into effect at Amherst Regional High School while members of the Amherst Police investigate a possible threat. One student has already been taken into custody by police. Students will remain in their classes until the investigation is completed. Students and staff will not be allowed outside and all exterior doors will be locked.
